Today is a bright and sunny day to spot...... flea!
Yesterday, sista brought me out for my usual quick run on the grass patch and this morning, she found my very first flea while brushing me! *I've been really lucky not to get any without prevention for 1+ year of my life! God bless that woman.* *Roll eye*
I tell you it was so darn big and fat! doG knows how much blood it had sucked! When sista tried to pull it off, that stupid bugger just won't budge. Then the harder she pull, the tighter it cling on my skin. Luckily Shaney was around and helped sista to get rid of it. Seriously, I don't trust my sista at all. I was petrified when she pulled on my skin, I don't even dare to move! That woman is so rough at times. Geez.
You sure you know what you're doing, Sista?
Thanks doG that was the only one sista found. One lesson learnt, prevention from now on. =P

eeewwyy yikky - mama hates fat ugly natsy Ticks. Luckily we live too far south in Australia for them to be a problem !!!

Fleas are not good. I don't get fleas very often .. the only time was once when we went to the beach. I still cratch a lot though coz my skin itches.

EEEYEWW!!! a flea?!?!! Yikes! it muz have be painful to have your sista pulling and pulling at that nasty thing and still not be able to get it out. Good thing you have Shaney around to come to your rescue.
And you're rite!! Prevention is better than cure. Mummy oso resumed her routine of applying the monthly flea guard thingy recently.
I hope you wont have any more of this problem in future!

eek eek eek... is the tick season here or what? please get mommy to frontline you and check everywhere for the little pests, esp between toes, under tail, in ears, under armpits and just below collar. i had to be frontlined twice before they seem to go away. i hope u'll be ok soon!

Oh no, Not flea...TICK!!! Those stuff are really nasty bloodsuckers apart from mosquitoes. They are just as bad! My mommy knows how to pull them our using her long & shiny nails. It hurts sometimes too coz she sometimes pull my hair...She's rough at times too. The other thing you mommy can do without hurting you & your lovely hair is that, she can heat the sewing needle with a lighter & when it's very hot, poke the tick's body. Make sure she doesn't touch your skin or else it'll hurt! And don't worry, the bull ticks will not run away unlike the flat red ones & fleas. Chloe & I are actually infested with some ticks too, picked up from our training grounds but my mommy bathed us with Bayticol already this Monday but not working coz too diluted with water. So next Monday, gonna try again but make sure it's stronger. I think it's time for you to put on Spot On Miss Precious!

Awww! Poor Precious! That blood sucking, stuck-to-the-skin nasty thing. Sounds awful. Must have been traumatic, because that photo of you makes you look like you are not sure what's going on.
