Random Stuff

My sista is helping me blog, with one eye, that is. She's such a freak. Her left eye is itching like god knows how long ad yet she still not doing anything about it. Bcos she is lazy. Bcos she can't be bothered. Oh wells, wait till Kor says her again. Serve her right if she gets scolded. *Giggle*

Anyway, back to my stuff... My friend, Baby the Maltese, will be celebratng his 10th barkday on this coming June. The hoomans, mine and his/mine (my Shaney *Giggle*), are planning a celebration for him. I heard it includes fine gourmet, outings to Sentosa beach, dogs cafe, etc. And that means I'll get to enjoy the same goodies as the barkday boy! Jackpot! *Grinz*

My dream of travelling here and there and everywhere will be fulfilled soon as my Shaney might be getting a car. It's a might, but it's better than pinning my hope on sista who will takes another 10 to 20 years time. In our small island, you'll know how difficult it is to travel with pets unless you own a car. If not, then cabs will be the next alternative bcos doggies on board of buses and trains are a BIG no no. *Pouts*

The only alternative ain't always a good alternative either. To get cabs in Singapore, especially friendly cab drivers who don't mind taking us doggies, is just as difficult too. It doesn't seems to be like this a few years back. It was easy to flag a cab by the roadside, but now, the cabbies will just wheezed away when they spot a doggie. The worst part is, cab fare is terribly high recently. One trip from east to west cost about 30 bucks during peak hours. It almost double the price compare to the fare before the hike! What a pets unfriendly island. *Double Pouts*

I've got to prepare for Snowball and my lady Blue combined birfday celebration for this saturday - 10th May. It's going to be a whole weekend afffair starting from tonight where lots of pawsome food and fun awaiting us! Yiipee!

But there's a slight problem, I don't know what I should wear.. Hmm.. where's my gown, sista? What? I don't have a gown? Then what are you waiting for sista, hurry find me a virtual gown! Sheesh, please pardon with her, she's having after exam side effect, I guess her brain cells were used up so she's a little slooooww now. *Giggle*

*1 hour passed by* Are you done yet, sista? No? Ok... *2 hours passed by* You done yet? No? Grr.. *3 hours passed by* Done? NO? OMG! What have you been doing, woman?!

Sista here: "I've to admit, without her Kor's help, I'm a complete disaster in picture editing. I am so sorry to end up having to use back an old pic from another virtual party. I really did try my best but the edits all turns out making Precious looks weird. You wouldn't want that, do you Precious darling?"

Geez, alright alright, I guess I'm left with no choice. Ok, here's what I'll be wearing to the celebration tonight. Can't wait to see you guys there! *Excited*

Backkkk!

I'm backkkkk! Wow! I've been gone for a really looooong time eh... Thank you for the comments you all left for me, thank you guys who still visit my blog even though I didn't update at all. And thank you my lady Blue for your email. *shy*

I've been great, getting my treats, walks, playing with my neighbouring friends, etc., but not so for my sista. Well you see, my sista experienced the worst school's semester she ever had. And she's very thankful that it is all over now, but I got a feeling that her next semester will be even worsen than worst coz that's gonna be her last semester before her graduation. I just hope I will not need to suddenly disappeared in action again. *Sigh*

Ok guys, I've got lots and lots of catching up to do.. Wooooo!

Eve of CNY + Ear Infection Update

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year, Happy CNY to all celebrating the festive! Happy CNY to those not celebrating it too. I hope to spread wealth and good fortune to everyone, Gong Xi Fai Cai! Mama is going to cook lots of good food in the afternoon. In the evening we will be having steamboat for our reunion dinner. Yummy! I can't wait to get my share. I hope my portion is larger than me! *Grinz*

Thank you everyone for your kind concern about my ears. *Hugs* Sista brought me to see a vet on last friday despite my self-proclaim pretty good hiding skills. Well, as thought, I have yeast infection in both ears, furthermore, my left ear test result came back with two different kind of bacteria. Euuks. The vet prescribed me with one kind of ear drop for both my ears and another kind specially for my left ear. Gosh, the special medi has a very strong acidic smell which totally turn me off. All I can say was these few days wasn't the best days for me. I have to compete with sista on who has the most patience and strength whenever it's medi time. It can take between half an hour to one hour for each application. Sista says I'm very stubborn, I prefer to think otherwise. Anyway, the medi has to be applied for two weeks, I hope sista will either give up on me soon or, too lazy to move her butt and spare me the torturing. *Giggle*

p.s. For some unknown reasons, I can't seems to add image to my post. Hmmm, hopefully I'll be able to upload my CNY pictures later on. =)

Busy + Ear Infection

Wooo! Time really passes fast! It has been a week since I last posted. Well, my hoomans are still very busy rushing in between work and spring cleaning. And yesterday, I added on to their busy schedule by having ear infection. *Giggle* It began a few days ago when my ears started to itch badly. I couldn't help scratching it all day, but, I think I used too much strength. *Oppsie* Sista said she's very sure I'd hurt my inner ear cos now when I scratch, I'll whine too. This morning I overheard sista telling Kor to bring me to the vet soon. Possible if tonight. What?! No way. What did you say sista? You mean I still have to visit the vet again for my annual injection? Argh! I think my CNY is ruined. Sob sob.

I better go hide now, hopefully sista will forget about my bad ear if I stop scratching. *Scratch scratch* Opps.

Busy Week

Last week was a busy busy week for my hoomans. First, sista started a new semester in school, then she was down with fever and had to drag her sick body to see Jay Chou's concert in Singapore. She actually felt better after the concert except for sore throat due to crazie screamings. *Giggle* But, poor Kor had eye infection after the concert.

Before that, our washing machine broke down, it was beyond repair said the technician. That was a great news to me, cos now I don't have to be punished standing on the washing machine. Mama said our washing machine was 11 years old. Wow, I'm glad I didn't stand on it for 11 years. Alas, to my dismay, mama went to buy a new one on that very day, and yesterday, they delivered it to my house. I tried telling them they got the wrong address, but they just ignore me. Grrrr. It's about the same size as the previous one. Sista says that is because they wanna make sure I feel as comfortable standing on it as the old one. Bad hoomans. *Pouts*

On a happier note, sista and kor brought me to the dog show on Sunday. We saw Snowball and her Jiejie the moment we reached there. *Grinz* Didn't manage to see other familiar faces though, anypups and hoomans went to the dog show too? Sista bought a CNY dress for me from one of the booths. It's pretty in red. Red is an auspicious color for the Chinese and some will dress themselves in red too during CNY to bring good luck. Woo, I hope I'll get more red packets *Ang Bao* too! *Grinz*

Catching Up

Chinese New Year is coming! Weee! This year, the first day of CNY falls on 7th Febuary. That is like my favouritestest festival among my favouritest festivals. According to the Chinese zodiac, the coming year will be the year of the Rat. The Rat is the first animal sign on the zodiac follows by 11 other animals signs. There are many legends to why the animals are arranged in this sequence. You can find out more from here.

One reason why I like CNY so much is bcos of the traditional food, snacks, and many more! Some of them are available during CNY only. Just thinking of all those yummilicious goodies makes me drool. *Slurp* Oh and the best part is I don't have to perform any tricks to get it! *Grinz* During this period, relatives and friends will visit our house too. I always make sure they feel welcome by giving them lots of smoochies! I think I make a good host. Tee hee.

Ok I have to pen off, sista has to get back to spring cleaning her room. From the way she's going about it, I think she will take forever. Can you imagine that all she managed to tidy up was 3 drawers using a whole day! Geez.

My first DWBs' Calendar has arrived! It's a sweet surprise, sista and I didn't expect to receive it before Christmas cos my lazy sista took her own sweet time to help me order. What can I say, I'm amazed by the delivery speed. Paws up!

Another surprise I received is my online order for my Christmas photocards. We just got it today. Sob. It was meant to be my greeting cards but somehow the order never did arrive and we waited and waited like one month and it still had not reached us, so sista has no choice but to mail all cards (printed version) out. *I am so so sorry that some of you will be receiving your cards after Christmas day.* Now, we got a stack of Christmas photocards which sista is really not sure what to do with it. All the cards were mailed and it is too late to mail any more Christmas cards now. *Pouts* Sista, pleaseee order way in advance for next year, ok?

This year Christmas is a very special one, look at the number of cards I've got! I am very thankful to everyone in DWB's for making me a part of this warm family! I lurve you! *Muacks*

Blue Monday

It started raining again early this morning. Rain on a blue blue Monday dampens my mood. *Pout* And yesterday, I had to bath in this cold weather. *More pouts* I think I'm being tortured. Do you all get to bath in cold cold weather too?

Rain Rain Go Away

Hi my dear friends, how's everyone? It has been raining almost everyday here. Sometimes the water get trap along the pathway making it hard for me to walk. Hence, I get trap too right at home cos sista doesn't want me to get all wet and muddy. That is the fun part right? I mean getting all wet and muddy. Haiz. Anyway, I hope that it will not rain next weekend because sista promised to bring me to the dog run, and maybe to the beach! Actually, it's a little silly to plan outdoor activities now during the rainy season, but, I still hope I'll get to go. Tee hee.

Sista has finished my Christmas cards. Some have been sent out, the rest hopefully we can send it out by end of this week. I received more and more Christmas cards each day. Papa said our mailbox contains more of my mail than of my hoomans. *Giggle* We haven't hang the cards up or display them yet. Once we done that, I'll ask sista to take a picture and show you all here. They are all really lovely, all these cards warm our hearts and we really appreciate them. Not forgetting the e-cards I've received too. I will ask sista to print them out for me to display together. *Grinz*

I'm back!

Hi everyone! I'm back! Woooo! I missed you guys lots.

Wow, I have lots of catching up on all your blogs, but first, I have to come up with my cards for the DWB card exchange. Lucky Me

Oh boy, the mailman delivered 3 more pressies to me. *Blush*

Here, I declared the package's mine even before sista said so. Well, anything that came in a brown package now is mine!


I got it right, the package is for me! And it is from Ume, my sweet silky/yorkie girl!

Thank you Ume girl! *Muacks* I lurve my pressies a lot! I've tried the cheese treats, they are oh so heaven! Sista liked the smell so much she was really tempted to try one too. Geez.

Then yesterday night, Papa brought home a package sent by Boy n Baby.

Ziwi Peak is definitely one of my favourite treats! They are made from real meat and deliciously chewy, and most importantly, healthy for us to eat it anytime, any day! Ok, I digress, back to my pressie. *Giggle* Look, Boy n Baby's Mama also handmade a pretty chain with a letter "P" pendant for me!

My 2nd Barkday Updates 2

Sorrie to keep everyone waiting for my barkday updates part 2. Bad bad blogger has been going against me since I posted my first barkday update. Sob.

So on my barkday on Suday, I went to a dog show at Expo with my hoomans and friends. I spent a wonderful time sniffing and running around with nobody to stop me, say 'NO' to me, command me blah blah blah cos it was my barkday! And I ruled the day! Hee. Anyway, my hoomans were proud of my behaviour when I initiated to make friends with other dogs there, but but, i still made a few enemies too. *Giggle*

No pictures on the dog show, my sista, as usual, was too busy browsing through every booths there to take my pretty pictures. Oh wait, I think I do have some pictures of me to show my friends here! Not from my hoomans, but from a professional photographer. There was a booth there with a small photo taking area offering to take beautiful pictures of us doggies at affordable rates. All money received from the photo takings goes to a charity organisation in Singapore for less fortunate doggies.

My hoomans chose the best 3 out of a dozen pictures the poor photographer took. He had a hard time taking my pictures, I know. Hee. I mean, I was off leashed, so my first instinct was to run away. It was really scawie too to sit there alone, with big white 'umbrellas' facing me and a big black object that kept blinding me with strong flashes. Oh man, I just couldn't wait to get away.

The 3 pictures we took home really look much nicer than when showing here as my sista re-took the original pictures with her lousy handphone camera so that she could upload into the compooter.

Pressies opening time

Later that night, sista let me open the rest of my pressies. Please please pardon my messy look. I was really tired after the dog show and bonkz out immediately when I reached home. This is my after nap look. *Blush*

I had to take a picture with my pressies first.


Kor was my helper in pressies opening that night. Me waited 'patiently' at his side. First, we opened a package that Butchy & Snickers sent me, all the way from USA!

The first item Kor took out was this. Ooo, what's that?


It's a cool pink ring with not just one, but two squeakies in it! I lurve it! Can you see the way I hold my pretty ring? I bummed into many things around the house while running like this. *Giggle*


And there's more in the package! Butchy & Snickers gave me a very pretty card featuring a very happy looking Wire Fox Terrier, just like the two of them! There's also another squeaky toy in there called the lamiedoodle. Sista has not allow me to play with him yet, I hope she will not keep him as her own though. Thank you Butchy & Snickers for the wonderful gifts! *Muacks*


Next, we opened a pressie from Girl Girl, the Hamsterrier.

Cute li'l Girl Girl gave me sweet potatoes treats, it's yummylicious! I had asked sista to include it to my 'must buy treat list'! Tee hee. Girl Girl also gave me a pretty pink card with cute lamies, and a pretty butterfly!

No? Then I shall snatch! Whoosh!


My hoomans 'assumed' that it will be a pity if the pretty butterfly landed in my mouth. Geez, what are they talking about? I only gave all my stuffies my best tender loving care, no less! Anyway, my mama said she decided to sew MY pretty butterfly on one of my clothes so that I could wear it instead of destroy it. What?! Hmmm well, atleast I still can see my pretty butterfly, not like my other stuffies that always disappeared overnight. *Sista: *roll eyes* All your other stuffies have R.I.P.!* Umm umm... Thank you li'l Girl Girl for the sweet pressies! *Muacks*

Next up, we opened a package from cute Huskee Boy.

Guess what's inside the package? *Drum roll*


Ta da~! Goodies! Lots of goodies! Look at all those mouth-drooling treats! And a very sweet pink rabbit stuffie! It is a treasure box, I'll say!

Oh yes, there is one more pressie for me! Papa brought it home for me on Wednesday. It's a package from handsome BenBen in Malaysia!


BenBen sent me a cute colourful crab stuffie, a packet of delicious lamb sticks and a big cake! BenBen even included his handsome portrait in my pressies! Awww~

My 2nd Barkday Updates 1

Good day, my dear friends! Wanna say a big THANK YOU to everyone for my sweet barkday greetings! *Blush* I had a great time spending the whole weekend with my hoomans and friends! *Grinz*

On Saturday, I had a mini celebration together with my hoomans, my hoomans friends and Casper, the lil' rascal who is not little anymore. He sure grow fast. *Giggle*


My hoomans made me a cake with Snowball's barkday cake recipe.

My cake. Notice the big candle on it? It actually represents 10 years old! Silly sista forgot to buy candles for me and this is the only type of candles the hoomans can find in my house. Gawg.

Finally, cake eating time! Kor cut out my cake into portions and I waited patiently for mine. Can anyone spots me? Hee.


Then it was gifts opening time for the barkday girl, me! The pretty green box is from Casper and his owner. They got me a beautiful Kimono. Alas the size was not right, so the hoomans have to change it on Sunday dog show. Next, the huge hamper is from my Shaney, J jie jie and not forgetting my admirer, Baby. *Grinz* There are lots of treats and toys in the hamper, and also a pair of beautiful hair clips and a stunning crown! Lastly, the new ball is from my dear Kor. I've got lots of new treats from my hoomans too, however, I'd ate most already. Opps.

Oh and guess what, while sista was busy taking my pressies pictures, the mailman came with another pressie for me! Talk about perfect timing! Poor mailman though, he was traumatised by Casper and I barking our heads off at him. =P

Sista allowed me to open up one of my pressies from my DWB friends. I chose Snowball's because it has been in my house since Wednesday and I am really really excited *Sista: excited = bark non-stop* about it till sista had to keep it in our store room to prevent me from seeing it! Thank you Princess Snowball! *Muacks*

Wow, Snowball gave me a sweet pink bed with a matching bone shaped pillow! Argh! Again that rascal tried to snatch what's mine! Back off you big rascal!
